I ran the broadcast for these cats when they played at Sycamore Park in Sycamore, IL. I haven't heard this kind of authentic Cajun music since I was in Houma, LA at a real dance hall. This is some good, fun music!

You did it again! You made Gumbo Stomp 2 an even bigger success than last year's event! We've topped our $10,000 fundraising goal to support New Orleans rebuilding, and your music and dance instruction truly made the party. Merci beaucoup from the entire Gumbo Stomp Krewe and Katrina Task Force, All Saints' Episcopal Church, Chicago!

Gumbo Stomp fundraiser on June 6 at All Saints Episcopal Church, Chicago, to help rebuild homes in New Orleans was a huge success, and you were the biggest single reason. Your music and energy were terrific. And you've addicted more of us to this music. Bravo, bravo and merci beaucoup!
