Special Sunday, April 6th Dance, 2:00PM -
5:00PM!
 Dennis
Stroughmatt and Creole Stomp will be our final guest band of the
season. We're very excited about hosting Creole Stomp, a
national touring band with 6 CDs to their credit. Dennis has
played with many Louisiana bands including Sheryl Cormier,
Dexter Ardoin and the Creole Ramblers, Hadley Castille, The
Morris Ardoin Creole Trio and The Acadian Aces. Dennis has
appeared as a performer on CDs by Morris Ardoin and Dexter
Ardoin. Dennis and his band are on the Illinois Arts Council
Artstour Roster, The Heartland Arts Fund Roster and the Missouri
Humanities Council Speaker Roster.
As Ron McFarlain of Lake Charles,
LA, has said "When it comes to Louisiana French music, I've
heard a lot in my time. Dennis doesn't try to play the real
thing, he IS the real thing. So don't miss seeing him and
Creole Stomp!"
As you can see, this will be a
very special event. Please note the day and time change and
please be sure to attend. You will love Dennis' energy and
authenticity. Dennis has told me that he's looking forward to
meeting many of you and supporting Cajun dance in Chicago!
